PLOT
Amett the sixteen year old Demon Shifter has gotten more and more powerful through the span between Amaru and SotL. Now, he posesses three of the Crystalite shards. With their power he would be able to control even more of Amaru than his dark influence already rules. It is still up to the heroes to save the world as well as others who dare venture out of their homes to search for the Stone Legend.
Recently discovered, the Stone Legend is a series of hidden artifacts placed by the Great Circle of Amaru, a group of Elders of different races that were sent by the goddesses to be sure the reign of the first Demon Shifter Metreyara was never repeated. However, Amett's dark spell turned them all mortal. Six of the seven Elders passed, giving the seventh (Asteros) their powers. Their partners, a group known as the Great Circle Guardians did the same with Asteros's partner, a dragon named Fineus.
Without the Circle, Amaru's darkness enhanced. Fineus and Asteros fled and now are nomads, traveling around and teaching spells. They keep themselves hidden enough to elude Amett and his servants. However they leave behind a legacy: The Stone Legend.
The Stone Legend is a series of giant rocks that are covered in magically enhanced blue glowing runes. They are written in Amarian so only those with knowledge of the forgotten language can translate. Along the way there are perils, but those who sucked in following the path will discover a hidden shard of the Crystalite. Could you be that one? And if so...will you use it for good? Or fall to darkness?

Alchemy Language « Thread Started on Feb 28, 2009, 9:38pm »
The language of alchemy is uniqu in many ways. First of all, it isn't spoken, only written. Second, it is written one symbol on top of another it a sort of design fashion. Fourth, it uses shapes instead of letters and words. Finally, the language is used as a system of guidance for the power emitted by the Void. Symbols can be divided into different categories: bases, breakers, unions, and reformers.
Bases- start of design, all other shapes go in this. circle- Means that you wish to initiate basic Alchemy. hexagon-Means that moderate alchemy is wished. octagon- Means advance aclchemy is wished.
Breakers- symbol that initiates the break down of the material. line-breaks down into large peices, about big enough to fit in the average person's hand. tiangle- breaks down into medium peices, about as big as a pebble. rhombus- Breaks down into pieces small enough to not be seen easily.
Unions[- Symbol that joins broken up material into new object. square- Unites by lossely joining pieces. ex. turning a staff ino a chain rectangle- Unites the peices together but the individual parts are noticable. trapezoid- Unites completely, down as far as the molecular level.
Reformers- reforms something into a previous form or something with exact same composition. Ex. sharpening a dull sword
Star (no lines inside)- Only level of reformer, potentcy depends on user.
There are also three levels of universal shapes that when applied can do any of the ones above. Pentagram-used for low level universal alchemy. Hexagram-used for medium level universal alchemy octagram- used for advance level universal alchemy
An example of how a designed would be formatted is: using Iron chunk and cloth to form armor. design: Hexagon-line-rectangle
