Larc stopped and turned around. "Why dont you lead us. I dont want to get us lost. A new comer getting everyone lost...would not make a got welcome." He shrugged.

"I can see well enough." Nox told Adura. " I'm use to traveling at night so I see good in the dark, though I am use to the limited light the moon and stars give. Just give me a few pointers along the way if I miss something." He walked ahead of Larc. "I'll take it from here."

Larc stopped in the dark. His ears twitched. His face dashed from side to side. He started breathing hard and panting. He soon snapped out of it and ran after Nox.

"What's with the freakout?" Nox asked Larc. " Not afraid of the dark, are you?"

Larc glared at him. "It's nothing. It's my own problem!" He growled. He was not in the mood. The voices screamed out aloud to him. The path they were taking was not good. It led to trouble. "I...um..." He just stopped talking. It was probably nothing.

Nox rolled his eyes in annoyance, even though Larc probably couldn't see him do it. " I you got something to say then spit it out." He said. "I dislike it when someone starts to say something only to stop mid-sentence"

"Whatever." Nox said as he walked on. He didn't care to pry into other people's secrets.

Larc's ears twitched to every step they took. His head pounded. His extra senses thirved. "No Nox! I sense something!"

"Is that so." Nox said, ignoring the fact Larc was in pain. " You know this how?I find this hard to believe without a good reason."

Larc growled under his breath. "You dont trust me?" He looked up at him. "I dont need to tell you anything! Even you have your secrets. But I trust them." He turned his face into a wolfish snarl. "Believe me!"

Nox picked Larc up by the back of the cloak and brought him to eye level. " Now, why should I be worried if their is something down that way, could the other ways back there be any better?" Nox asked darkly. " The fact that somthing is down here is all the more reason we should go this way. Sometimes you have to go through hell to get to heaven."

That was what made Larc snap. "You dont touch me!" He brung his hand down and smacked his hard. He stood then and glared him in the eye. "If you dont listen to anyone else, how are you still alive?!" He shook his head. "You are the one with a secret. What is it Nox? Hmm? Is it under your words?" He looked at his darkly. "Or under that bandge?"

( Larc wan't to see under Nox's clothes? *Backs away slowly.*) I never said I wouldn't listen, I asked why I should." Nox said through his teeth. " If you want to see what's under my bandage so bad then we go this way, if something truly evil lies ahead then it will want a fight. I make it a principle not to ask others of there's secrets, all I'm asking is what you know of what's ahead."

The Fehra sighed. Shut up you two. She said sounding very human. Adura slipped of Nox again and ran along the floor. The paths here converge and split regurlarly any way. I think if you want to get the scroll, you'll have to pass the beast at one point or another, to prove your worth. There may even be more that one.... I think we should keep going.
Adura didn't wait for the others, and began to make her own way down the path. Her claws clacked as she ran along the stone, her fur soft and pale against the blackness that surrounded her.
