The Road of Revenge and Twilight

The Fehra adopted a scornful expression. You can't order me around like that!

[James]

Nox sighed, Adura was begining to agitate him severly. " It's not an order, it's a suggestion." Nox said in a firm voice. " If you got a better idea I'd love to hear it."

[Kjara/Jyotic]

It doesn't matter to me whether you find the Legend or not. For your information it opens up after about 10 feet, but there is a maze of tunnels in there, and I wouldn't bet on your chances of getting through them alone. The Fehra turned to continue up the path, sniffing at cracks in the walls.

[James]

"So you know where it is?"Nox asked. He was fustrated that Adura had withheld that information from him till then. " That would of helped before we climbed all the way up here. Where are you heading now anyway?"

[Kjara/Jyotic]

I'm off. Things to do, beetles to catch. Plants to eat. Unless you want my help, but I've got the impression you don't. The Fehra scuttled up the path, suprisingly fast and agile.

[James]

"Well fine, I'll just go on on my own." Nox said. He wasn't really surprised, it was bound to happen eventually. I'll just continue on my own.He thought. He began to uwrap the bandages on his arms, revealing his cursed arm. After placeing his bandages in his bag, Nox channeled his annoyance and anger from the previous arguement into his arm. It began endulge in a black aura and grow twice it's normal size in muscle. His arm sprouted small spikes , ending in a large one at the elbow and his hand grew blade like claws. "And then the wall fell." Nox said as he began slamming his fist into the wall, using enough only enough strength to break the wall and not throw him off the ledge.

The Fehra jumped. Stop. It said. You can't do that, wait here a second. It turned and scampered into the hole in the wall.

[James]

Nox looked at the wall curiously. " Why should I stop?" He asked. " I needed a way in and this is my method."

[Kjara/Jyotic]

Just wait there a sec, and don't cause any more destruction. They've fallen down enough as it is, without your help. The whole structure is now very fragile and could cause a rock slide at any moment. You carry on crashing in to the walls and you'll get burried, and hundreds of creatures around you will die as well. Not to mention that you'll have damaged a place of important magic. The Fehra was still inside the hole, but her voice had a perfectly clear tone to it, because it wasn't being said out loud.

[James]

Nox rolled his eyes, believing that the Fehra was slightly exaggerating. " Fine, I'll stop." He said. Nox channeled the darkness from his arm, returning it to it's former state. "What are you doing in there anyway?" He asked as he wrapped his arm back up.

[Kjara/Jyotic]

This. The Feehra said, and a mechanism in the wall began to open, widening the gap until it was nearly 4 foot high. The Fehra scampered out again. You'll have to stoop a bit, but you can get through now.

[James]

"That's oddly convenient." Nox said as passed through the enlarged hole. " Must of been a secret entrance before the hole appeared." He looked down the passage and wondered how many other secrets the Ruins had. " You coming? I can't promise this place is safe if I run across something like this again. Force is something I won't hesitate to use."

[Kjara/Jyotic]

Adura smiled, and jumped up onto Nox's arm, before scampering up to his shoulder. I'm not going to let you do that.

[James]

"I didn't think so" Nox said. He began down the passage, slightly confused why he had mentioned that. He was unsure if he actually wanted a companion or if he really would destroy the place. What could this mean? A friendship or a partnership?

The Fehra settled round Nox's shoulders, her fur soft against his neck. Why are you looking here anyway?
