Kjara nodded. I guess I'll meet them when the gods decide it is right.

The great goddesses of Amaru have never let us down before...I am sure they will let you meet the other Heroes when the time is right. Rajira confirmed. She stretched and then looked to the others. Shall we wake them?

Kjara sighed, looking at Jyotic sleeping peacefully. <I think it is time to move on,> she said. She padded over to Jyotic and nudged him gently. She pulled open the pack and gave him a pepper to eat for breakfast. She threw Rajira some meat, and Kjara helped herself to a steak as well. <We need to hunt again soon, we are running out of meat.> Kjara said. Gently unwinding Kintir's tail, Jyotic stood up and started to saddle Kjara. He put the armour on in all the right places and slipped the still sleeping Kintir into the pack. He lifted it up and fastned it to the saddle, and then he mounted. He wrapped the pepper up tightly, knowing that if Kintir could get in, it might all dissapear very quickly. <Let's move,> Kjara said, taking the first few steps forward.

Rajira, who had finished her meat in one snap as before, licked her lips clean as she followed behind them. We will be out of the forest soon...this worries me. If we have not found signs of my daughter yet then- She cut herself off, not wanting to finish the sentence.

<Last time we where down here, the forest went on for a while yet. What has changed?> Kjara asked.

Nothing I suppose...I'm just submitting to paranioa. I apologize. Rajira folded her wings and looked around again. No...nothing has changed... she muttered.

Kjara suddenly stopped. "There is light ahead." Jyotic stated, being able to read Kjara like a book. Kjara stepped forward and saw that row after row of trees had been felled, and that something was changing.
