Kjara smiled. <Jyotic needs to sleep as well. I only need about 4 hours, but usually have more. Let us stop and rest here then. We should start a fire.>

Then I will search for the wood so you can sleep. Rajira nodded. You look for a place suitable.
Kintir can help?

"If you want" Jyotic replied. Kjara stopped, and Jyotic dismounted. <Here looks fine. We can build the rock over there so we don't start a forest fire.> Jyotic pulled the saddle of Kjara's back and started to take the armour off as well. Kjara shook her wings as soon as they were free, swooping up into the air to celebrate the loss of weight. She picked up a few large logs, one at a time, and dropped them next to the stone she had pointed out. "We need some kindling" Jyotic stated, as he began to pull food out of the pack.

Kintir jumped around and started looking for kindling, picking little bits of twigs up in his front paws. Little bitty wood bits? he questioned.

<Yes> laughed Kjara, <unless you can manage the bigger ones.>

Kintir tried to lift a bigger piece with his tail but ended up falling over when he tried to drag it behind him. No work...Kintir just get bitty bits then.

Kjara flew over and helped him drag the little stick back. She smiled a little as she was dragging. It was easy for her.

<Kintir is little bitty.> Kjara joked. <You collect bits you can manage, and let me and Jyotic deal with the large pieces.>

Okay. he laughed before unwinding his tail and ran off again to find the little kindling sticks he could handle.
Rajira returned shortly after with logs she was rolling along. She also had a few on her back between her wings which held them in place like a saddle. This good?

<Very good, thank you.> Kjara set the twigs up on the stone, and blew a little fire to start it up. It burst into flames, and Jyotic started to cook rough steaks over the fire. He also cooked some peppers and carrots. <What would you like Rajira,> Kjara asked.

Rajira stretched, her claws raking the ground in little ruts the length of Kintir's tail. Food. I'm not picky. I'm a carnivore but I can eat anything.
Icky meat! How can big kitty like? Kintir sniffed.
I'm just adjusted differently than you, mouse.

Kjara gave Rajira a large slab of meat, as she and Jyotic tucked into their meal. Jyotic left a little pepper wrapped up in the top of the pack, expecting Kintir to run straight for it.

Kintir stood up on his hind legs and sniffed. He squeaked and jumped over, true to nature. For Kintir?
Rajira lifted the meat up in her teeth and tossed it, snapping it up in her jaws in one bite. She chewed about twice then swallowed in a content manner.

Jyotic lauged. "If you want," he said. Kjara smiled, and carried on eating her meal. She packed most of the things away, and then returned to her food.
