Kjara slowly lifted her wings, and Jyotic walked across the clearing to recieve the arrows. He smiled, they were both still fireable. He put them in the sheath on his back, and than pulled himself up onto Kjara's back. <Where would you suggest we start?>

I've already covered this part of the forest... it would have to be further back.

<Fine, let's go. Kintir, you can come out now.> She started to move forwards, walking along the forest floor with Jyotic on her back. She spoke to Jyotic and Kintir directly, so the cat couldn't hear. <Do you think we will find it?>

Kintir poked his head out. Hope so or scary kitty be mad loooong time.
The cat watched as they spoke together, though she couldn't hear them.

<If we don't find it, we can't let her rampage around the forest. Come on let's keep going.> Jyotic caught Kintir as he poked his head out, and pulled him out of the pack. He held him by the scruff of his neck, and started talking. "There's no need to hide in there silly."

We going to find my child now?
Kintir yelped and scrambled in the air. No!

<Hey Kintir, what's the matter?> Kjara asked silently. <Yes we are going to find your child,> she replied to the large black cat. Jyotic held Kintir up. "What's the problem."

Kjara called the cat over as they walked off into the woods. Jyotic held Kintir down off Kjara's side as they padded along. <Don't eat him.> Kjara said for the cat's ears alone. <If you do Jyotic will shoot you, just give him a sniff while we walk.>
"Calm down Kintir," Jyotic said. "She won't eat you. She knows we won't help her if she does."

I wasn't going to eat him. There would be no point. He's less than a bite to me! she snorted.

<Calm down!> Kjara said to Kintir. <She will not eat you, she just misses her child.> She moved her thoughts to Jyotic <Put him on my head, so he can curl his tail around my horn, perhaps he'll feel more comfortable there.
Jyotic slipped Kintir out of his hand and onto Kjara's back. He nudged him slightly, urging him forwards, "Go and sit with Kjara," he said.
Kjara kept steadily walking forward, moving out towards the edge of the forest, out towards treefell.

Kintir scampered upwards, gripping her horn tightly with his forepaws as well as his tail. It did seem to calm him down.
The female cat just silently padded along. The only hint of her actual presence was the occasional sound of unfurling and refolding wings.

They continued to walk silently forward, Kjara extending her thoughts out, reaching for the creatures in the forest around her, and seeing if any of them had any idea where the little cat had gone. She found very little information, but she could at least persuade some of the more dangerous creatures to stay out of her way.
Jyotic swayed gently with her motion, as she moved along the padded floor. He stroked Kintir softly as they moved forwards and onwards.

Kintir uncurled his tail and jumped cautiously onto the cat's back. It surprised her and caused her fur to bristle, but once she realized it was the mouse she just grumbled and went back to silence.

Kjara shrugged, shaking Jyotic a little. She looked at Kintir, slightly confused, but carried on her steady pace forward. <That was unexpected,> she stated to Jyotic.
