Name: Star
Gender: Female
Race: Sunca (Shifter father)
Age: 17.
Home: She was born in Sunca Village in Minami. She is now nomadic.
Relatives: She has a twin brother who is still alive. They are not on speaking terms.
Appearance: Although she is of average height for a Sunca, she has a powerful aura about her. Many people do what she says simply because of the power flooding from her, and she is used to getting her own way. She has silvery skin like all Sunca, and dark black hair. Her skin has a slightly golden tinge to it, and it is this that earned her her name, Star. She has bright golden eyes. She no longer wears the traditional clothes of her people, instead she wears black boots, a short silver dress with eyes on her shoulder blades. She has cut her hair short, and it on anyone else it would look ragged, but it suits her. She always has a dark charm on a leather strap around her neck, and an Opal Blade at her hip.
Background: Star was born in Sunca Village, but she was born with an unusual power for a Sunca. From an early age she could shift into any shape she chose, and almost perfectly. The only thing that could give her away was a very fine golden rim around her pupils, which got finer as she honed her talent. She also had exceptional intelligence for a young girl. She could walk by 6 months, and was talking fluently within 2 years of being born. By the time she was 7, she had a vocabulary that most people never gained, although she was careful when she used long words that people couldn’t understand. Although she played a sweet and innocent young girl, she constantly harbored a desire to be rid of the village and to have an adventure, to do something interesting.
The people of her village were scared of her, and when she was five she was cast out, told that she had the mark of the demon and that shape-shifting was not something she should be able to do. Her parents abandoned her as well, leaving her on the edge of Chuukan Woods for any beast to pick off. She swore to get her revenge.
When she was 10 she returned to the village in the dead of night. Unlike the others, her hair and skin didn’t shine, so there was nothing to give her away. She transformed into a cat until she came across her parent’s house, and entered lithely through an open window. She killed them both with her father’s sword, starting with him. Her mother woke up, and in her dying moments revealed a secret, that the dead man wasn’t her dad. She brought the sword down, and her mother asked her to wait, desperately saying she had something more to tell. There was a package under the floorboard, which her real father had left, something that her mother had never opened.
After dispatching of her mother she opened the package. Inside was a long black blade, and a little black charm. She took the sword with her. She assumed from then on that her father must have been a dark shifter. He had had an opal sword and a dark charm, something no-one would give up lightly. She wore the charm on a chain around her neck, and the sword never left her hip. She moved from place to place, listening to stories, and then leaving a trail of destruction in her wake. She had heard of someone who could help her in her quest of finding the first father who had abandoned her. She was on the search for Amett.
After much searching, she made her way to his lair, where she was tested by Flame. Her ability to shape-shift helped her pass the test, and she was ordered to begin looking for a hero to find and bring to Amett.
She brought him Ivy, hero of Tengal, and since then has not been given a specific task. However she continues to roam, and is currently crossing the desert in Seido.
On her travels, she picked up a wolf pup, Accalia, whom she trains regularly. It is her intention that the grown dire wolf that Accalia will become will strike fear in the hearts of those around her.
Other: For Amett.
She has become proficient in all basic Dark Magic, and some much more advanced spells. For the advanced spells she relies on the blade, and this is one of her weaknesses.
