Rajira gladly looked around, feeling less cramped. Kintir hopped off her back and as usual made his commentary. Wow! Back in little housie! We can go now?

<Yes. Come on.> Kjara darted out the door, and passed the unconcious guard. <Onward to the desert.> Kjara paused so that Jyotic could climb on, and made her way to the edge of treefell.

Kintir clung to Jyotic's shoulder, enjoying the air in his fur again. Whee! Kjara is fast even when walking!
Rajira just rolled her eyes. Stupid mouse... she mumbled mentally.
(xD Okay I forgot, where'd Rajira's daughter go? *doesn't feel like backtracking*)

(I assume she came with us... we just stopped mentioning her...)
<I would hope that I can move quickly. We should move on, I think we should go to the the desert.>

(xD okay)
Rajira nodded. Quickly to the desert indeed... but I really should not continue onwards with my injured wing. It'd be best if I return to my home...
Big kitty leaving? Kintir said with sorrow to his voice.

<It was never a permanent arrangement Kintir.> Jyotic dismounted and carefully passed Rajira her kitten. He smiled, before mounting again. <I guess this is it then?>

Rajira thought a moment and passed the kitten back. I'd like to see you again my friends... Keep her safe for me and perhaps we shall. She paused and smiled at Kintir. Oh and do keep the mousaokit out of trouble, Kjara. Heaven knows he needs to have an eye kept on him.

Jyotic took hold of the kitten carefully and placed her in one of the saddle bags, so that she could have her head peeping out. Jyotic nodded to Rajira, and Kjara bowed her head. "I hope we shall meet again."

Rajira bowed her head in return. Until then, fly safe Heroes. May you succeed in your journey. ...From here it is a straight dash to the desert. Beware of the heat.

Kjara turned swiftly, paused so that Jyotic could mount again, and then lifted off into the air, her body twisting with the air currents. She rose higher until she could see the desert and then angled herself on a slight doward gradient.

Rajira waved to them with her lesser injured wing until they were out of sight then padded off towards the forest again. She knew they would keep her daughter safe no matter what.
Kintir pouted for a while then cheered up. Does little bitty kitty have a name? he asked.

"We never thought to ask...." Jyotic said a little sadly. <Do you already have a name?> Kjara asked the little kitten.

Arashi! came a young voice's response, loud and clear. Kintir seemed impressed by her ability to speak so easily. Kitty can speak? he asked her.
Fairly well. Mum's a fan of good speech. she said. Yes, surely she was Rajira's daughter being such a stickler for good word use.

Kjara laughed softly. <Arashi. A well chosen name. It suits you.>

Mum chose it. Arashi said with a smile. She folded her small wings around herself inside of the saddlebag and poked her head out. May I ask your names?
Kintir is named Kintir! he said proudly.
