Rajira jumped nimbly down into the opening then moved a little to let Kjara have room. Good luck trying to fit...If it was tight for me it'll be hard for you.

Kjara looked, grateful that she was still fairly serpentine. She encouraged Jyotic to jump off and slip through the hole, and Kjara slipped through afterwards. Kjara had to duck her head to stay in the tunnel, so there was no way Jyotic could mount again. Instead he put his hand on her neck, and they began to walk side by side along the tunnel.

Rajira took the lead since she was already in front, her body low to the ground in stalking position. Wind was coming from the tunnel, blowing in their direction. It held the scent of blood...strongly. Ick...

<We need to find out what it is that is down there. Let's keep going> Kjara urged.

Alright... Rajira nodded. She pressed on, coming to a wall of dirt. Must have been a cave in... she noted. However the breeze still blew through a few spaces in the dirt and rock.

Kjara scrabled at a few rocks, digging a hole large enough for Jyotic to pass through. She pulled away a few more rocks, but was afraid to move to many incase she caused a greater fall. <I think you too will have to go on alone. Keep talking to me though, so I know what is going on.>

Rajira slipped through and sighed. Alright...shall we take the mouse with us or leave him with you for company? He might be useful for sniffing around in small places.

<You can take him, just let me know what is happening, because Jyotic can't talk to me.> Jyotic stepped through the hole. "Make sure it doesn't close up." he said.

Kintir waved his tail at Kjara as a salute. Kintir be good!
Rajira chuckled to herself then started to jet down the tunnel again. Kjara be ready in case anybody comes down the tunnel.

Jyotic followed at a steady pace, putting Kintir on his shoulder so that he could keep up. "What do you think is down here," he asked.

I don't know...but the smell of blood is thick in the air. It smells like death and disturbance down here. I don't know what's going on but I can sense pain as well. I don't like this...

"We have to look," Jyotic said pushing on. He carefully slipped Kintir into his pocket though, closing it securly. He didn't want him to get hurt.

Rajira slinked along, the tunnel growing dark now. It was lit by a few torches as before but these had more space between, giving it a chance to become almost pitch black before the next one brought some illumination. Shall I make my aura brighter? The purple may light up the darker spots...I don't think it will give away our position. The blood stench is still distant and getting closer but I still do not hear anything or sense any people.

"I can see well enough. Let's keep looking. We will find something..." Jyotic kept pushing ahead, walking towards the other end of the darkening corridor.

She fanned her wings for a second, fur bristling. A static charge clung in the air. "...Something is strange. Can you sense it?"
