Nox thought about it. He was never one to want to travel with others. " I'm inclined to say no but what's your opinion Adura? Can we trust him?" Nox asked, not taking his eyes off the person. He lowered his arm but kept a firm grip on his dagger.

"Well, while you talk," Larc walked into the middle of the floor and slung his backpack around and pulled out dry leaves and sticks, he put them in a pile and pulled out a wooden shield, "Do any of you's need this?"

"Don't need a shield, only this." Nox said holding up his dagger. " Killing your enemy before they can fight back is the best offense."

Larc shrugged. "Weapons are not me choice, give me a spell and I'll master it in no time at all. Ill be the magic of this group." He smiled at Nox as he threw his sheild onto the pile. Then he shout, "Sparks!" The pile started on fire from the sparks that caught the leaves. "Now we can have a warm place to sleep tonight." He smiled again.

The Fehra smiled. I think we can trust him, although you should be wary. She thought this directly to Nox so that Larc couldn't over hear.

Larc flexed his muscles and layed next to the fire. It was large at the time. "This sheild should burn through the whole night." He currled up into a ball and tilted his head towards the two, "Names Larc," He smiled.

Nox replaced his dagger but shifted to be in better reach. He nodded to Adura. " Fine I'll give him a chance." He said to her. Nox then directed his attention to Larc. " Ok, you can join but your on thin ice till I see otherwise. My name's Nox. I guess we'll stop since we have a fire going."

"I can hunt too. Anything." He closed his eyes then. The warmth of the fire made him dozy. "Do you treasure that dagger?" He eyed it. "You hold it like it is your life."

Nox pulled his cloak over the dagger so it wouldn't be visible. It made him uneasy to see others stare at his possessions. " I don't treasure it but I do hold it as my life. A weapon often is your life, what separates you and the void of death."

(I didnt use the spell sparks correct. Sorry, I just lighted the fire by my self then, XD) Larc laughed, "Weapons are not as challenging as magic." He stared at Nox, "I dont bit...sit" He closed his eyes again.

(It's alright, the name misled me at first too.) Nox sat where had been standing, setting his bag down as he did. " I've had my fill of magic for one lifetime." He said. "I'd rather use that stuff as least as I can. All I need is my dagger, my fist, and Adura as she's proven today."

Larc eyed Adura. "And now you have the magic part of the group." He smiled. "I will help you out with all I have." He frowned. "I promise." He got into a sitting postion and stretched his arms and yawned.

Adura curled up next to Nox's head. She closed her eyes, but she didn't need to sleep, so she could remain attentive through the night. She didn't let the others know this though, knowing that the element of suprise might be important later on.

Larc started to doze, but quickly woke up. "Ill keep watch." He got up and stretched again. "You two need the rest more than me. So ill wake you up if there is anything wrong." He smiled to them.

Nox didn't feel much like sleeping, new people kept him on his toes. " No I'll take first watch, I'm not tired at all." He expected it would be a few sleepless nights before he trusted Larc enough to sleep in front of him.
