"Oh...alright." He went to the fire and sat down. He stared into the fire and messed with his tail. He tried to speak,"...I'm not a bad person. I wanna kill Ammett as much as you do. I have goals and dreams. I wanna belong to someone or something. Not even Ammett would want me...I'm nothing to this world." He sighed and laied down next to the fire and pretended to sleep. He didnt want to hear Nox's reply...The truth was simply the truth...

"You want to kill him as much as I do?" Nox said as his anger flared. " I'd rather me on a journey to find my purpose than journey to fullfill my current one. My experiences left me with a hard time trusting people. Whether your good, bad, or neutral, I distrust them all. If you don't like it then leave. If you stay, then try to earn it."

Larc Jumped from his place, "Dont let the past harden you!" Larc straightened up and glared at him. The sudden jump must have scared him. "I will never hurt you. I want somewhere where I belong! I can help you! I want to fight and love it! I will give my life for you if you dont mind....me traveling along. Ill do anything!" His voice and embarasment increased. "Im sorry,"

"It's to late to not let the past harden me." Nox said. He kept his anger steady so he wouldn't lose control. " You may come but trust is something that must be earned through actions, not words. Here's some advice, throwing your life away to protect someone you just met is foolish."

Larc stomped off into the darkness. Away from Nox, away from the fire. "It's foolish to not trust me..." Larc curled into a ball. "I will help you get your revenge Nox...I promise...If you want it or not. Ill follow you through the twilight and dawn..."

Nox simmered in his own anger for a few moments before fully understood the situation. "Whether I trust you or not and whether you give your life for me or not, both are of little consequence now." Nox said , trying to sound calm. Some anger still sounded in his voice. "You have to travel with us now if you want to live. As long as we are in Amett's territory I can't allow people who have learned of me leave and live. Though I doubt he might care significantly, it would be bothersome if Amett's agents captured you and they got the information from you that I'm around. So for now I suggest we agree to disagree."

The stone corridor around Nox and Larc was silent. There seemed to be no-one around, and it was unlikely that any one would appear. Adura was still curled up silently.

Larc woke up later in the morining and glanced around the cave. The fire still burned. Larc paced over and didnt even notice is Nox was there or not, he wanted the warmth.

Nox stood up and stretched. He had moved closer to the fire during the night. Nox was accustomed to sleepless nights but didn't really like them. He noticed Larc heading towards the fire. " Hey, did you catch those last words I said last night? Wasn't sure if you heard over there." Nox said as he sat back down. Where as most people are grumpy when groggy or tired, Nox tended to be a little more lenient. It helped him to accept things and people. He munched on some food from his bag to help wake himself enough to start the day.

Larc sighed. "Yeah, what ever." He yawned. "So now where to Boss?" He stood and flexed his mucsles. "I'm getting bored of this little place."

Nox looked down the cooridor, not sure if Larc said Boss out of respect or to insult him. " I guess we head down this way." He said as he got up. " We only have to worry if it forks somewhere ahead. Then we'd probably have to wake Adura." Also tired of the place, Nox started into the Ruins.

Larc pulled out a bottle full of water and drenched the fire. "Fires out." He slowly kicked at it. "I can run ahead if you want?" He cruched down. "I can ran fast." He smiled over his shoulder.

Adura sent a private thought to Nox again. Not nessecary, keep him close to you. There is one creature up ahead, which you may have problem passing, but you would be better off with him close. Adura was still curled up, but she slowly blinked, opening her eyes as if she was just waking up. Morning She thought out loud.
