"If I can at least confuse them for a bit, then thats my goal!" He smiled at her.

"Right." Novitas took the gems of Larc ((You can add water rune, and the spell now. Again you can't use the spell yet.)). Novitas put a large bowl of water infront of Larc. "Think of your most distinguishing feature, one body part that you really like about yourself."

"Ah, thats easy. My ears! I love them!" He reached up and petted his wolf like ears. He smiled at her then.

"Concentrate on them carefully. Now try and collect the water around your head to form a second, identical pair."

Larc focused on his ears. Every detail that they had. He then tried to control the water to form around his ear. He let the thoughts run together.

The water rose slightly and then fell back into the bowl. Larc obviously didn't have quite the same aptitude with water as he did with earth. Novitas decided to help him. She didn't do it for him, but she helped him keep the water together and moving in the right direction. She just lent him some concentration and power, although he'd have to actually learn to do it himself.

He made the effort more now. Flowling with some of Novitas's power, he let the water rise. He waited til they were about ear level, then threw in pictures of his ears.

Novitas helped the ears to settle in the right shape. "Now you know what it feels like, try and do it yourself."

Larc controlled for the water to stay in place. He started sending images of his ears through his magical powers, to the water.

This time it worked, and a wobbly pair of ears formed on Larc's head. "Good. Now try and control the water so it is all around you, coating your skin. Then step out of it, leaving a copy of yourself behind. You probably won't manage it the first time."

Larc controlled the water to flow around him. He keep his eyes closed, for concentration, but he still felt the water flick at him. He then took a step out of water, getting a bit wet.

"As you get better, you shouldn't get wet." Novitas cast a small spell and Larc was dry again. "Turn around." Behind Larc was a blurry figure, it's skin wondering slightly as if it wasn't sure where to be. It had the same coloured clothes on, but a lot of detail was missing. The only thing that was in focus was the ears. "Now then, that isn't going to convince anyone in a battle now is it. You need to do better than that. Make sure that when you step through you are concentrating very hard on leaving an exact copy of your self behind"

Larc brought the water around him again. This time he memerized himself. He slowly stepped out and concentrated on only his body.

This time the figure was much clearer. "You don't need to concentrate any more after you have created it. It will remain as it was when you created it until it is damaged. However if you try to create more than two clones simultaneously then they well drain to much of your power and you will be unable to fight any more. You're figure is good enough to fool most people, although it wouldn't fool anybody really adept at magic."

Larc sighed. "Alright." He stared at the copy. "Does that really look like me?" He smiled. "Never mind."
