Tamara sighed. "That won't work unless we find solider ground. We can't carry anything to support it with us so..." Tamara examined her pack. If we don't find other shelter, we could take the poles out of our packs Zyg, and strech the canvas over it. All we really need is something to protect us from the heat."

"Yeah... but we should be careful how long we all stay even with the canvas. None of us should dehydrate but still we want to be cautious." Zyg nodded. Asim simply shrugged. He wasn't familiar with this talk of super hot climates. Canis wasn't like that.

"You haven't said much Asim... You know, I think we should just get started. Try and cut across here as quickly as possible, because the sooner we are out of the desert, the better."

Asim flashed a quick smile of reassurance. "I'm sorry, Tamara. I didn't mean to fall silent. I just don't have much of an opinion on the matter considering the hottest parts of Canis cannot compare to a desert as I am guessing."
"Probably right," Zyg agreed. He then looked to Tamara and nodded. "Quickly as possible sounds good to me too."

Tamara turned to Asim. "That's OK." She put her hand on his shoulder. "We should get going."

Asim smiled warmly at her as she placed her hand on his fur. He nodded and licked his lips lazily. "Then let's stop standing around." he agreed, beginning to trot off.

Tamara sighed softly as Asim moved off, his fur sliding underneath her hand.
She followed quietly, keep just a few paces behind Asim, still slightly in shock at the devestation surrounding them in treefell. She kept her eyes open though, aware that there might well be dangers here that are as serious as the ones deeper in the forest.
