((Am I using a char for this? I can modify it if its not.))
Larc walked over and looked at the man that was supposed to do the supplies.

(you use characters, they do it for the rest of the quest so why deviate?)
"So, here for some mining eh?"He asked. He was muscularly built and wore blue overalls but had an over all non threatening appearance. " I can cover you with three different plans for mining: explosives, pickaxe, and magic. Explosives are powerful and wil dig deep quickly but may damage material. Pick axe is slower but can get you far safely. Magic sense out the material and moves the rock layer aside but if you move too much it will collapse. Your choice, all are free."

Larc knew the one he would pick right away. "I will use magic." Larc simply smiled at using something that he was so used to.

"Magic eh. well let me set your kit up." The merchant says. He pulls out a pair of gloves and a hard hat. " These gloves are magic, say the word "pej" and and place your hand on the walls. This will move rock aside to reveal ore and other items. This, however, will compromise the wall structure and make it more prone to collapse. The helmet is magic to form a barrier form falling rocks. These items only work in this here mine so their useless if you run off with them." He took out one last item, a torch. " This is standard. A torch that automatically sets fire in the mine. It is also useless outside the mine. Now go on through."

Larc nodded with all the information. He started to walk down a hall and let his torch become his guide. He looked at a big rock and placed his hand on it. He said out loud, "Pej!"

The rock gives a loud groan and begins to move. The surface seems to become liquid and moves aside, trying yto escape the gloves touch. After a few momments the rock surface above your diging makes a load noise and shows a thin but long crack.

Larc pushed even harder, just wanting the rock to break.
((Does that go with it? I was confused XD))

(the gloves move the rock layers aside without breaking. The break is apearing elsewhere on the rock from it's structure being disrupted. If it were the mine wall there would be danger of collapse but on a large, seperate rock it's fine.)

The crack on the rock grows as you mve more of it aside. the magic exposses the rocks center when suddenly it collapses under strain to stay together. IT lies on the ground in rubble, hopefully any goods inside weren't damaged.

Larc bends down and scans over the remains of the rock, hoping to find iron, or something like that. He moved a few more rocks with the gloves too.
