Saria drifted between the trees, making not a single sound. One clawed hand rested easily on the hilt of the dark sword strapped to her waist, so casual a motion that it was unnoticeable. She had set out from her home in the Swarl Marshes but a few days ago and had, since then, followed her instincts, which had led her to this place. Disappointingly, she had encountered few foes at all during her short journey and none of those she fought had been much of a challenge. This place seemed different, however. It was darker, somehow. If there was ever a place where she was likely to find danger, this was it. That was not the only reason for her current feeling of anticipation, though. She could tell easily that if she was to find one of Amett's followers, it would be in a place such as this. Remaining alert, Saria silently crept through the forest, unrelenting in her search.

Watching in amusement, Flame rested on a tree branch. She was crouched low in her Toraled form, tail twitching back and forth a bit as she examined Saria's movements. She'd received notification from Amett that there was a suspicious individual who seemed worthy of investigation. She couldn't help but smile slightly. A shadral was about as rare as herself. Certainly an interesting asset for Amett if she could convince Saria. She continued to observe. If the shadral was worth recruiting, she'd be able to sense the presence of another so powerful. ( amarushadow.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=originalcharacters&thread=45&page=1 that's her by the way)

Saria frowned ever so slightly as she sensed a change in the air. She could sense something far darker than the rest of the forest something... or someone. What to do about it though? If it was a potential ally, remaining silent and continuing on as if nothing was different would most likely result in a missed chance to find a travelling companion, not that Saria needed one. If it was an enemy, revealing her presence would get her attacked, which she would actually welcome after several days of travel without encountering anything dangerous. If it was one of Amett's servants, it would undoubtedly be in Saria's best interests to reveal that she had sensed them. As she walked, Saria's mind raced through the options and finally settled on one. She stopped and stood, still and silent, in the middle of a small area that was not so crowded with trees. She paused a moment, then spoke. "Whoever you are, you can come out here now."

Impressed, and satisfied with her reaction, Flame jumped to the ground. Her red shoes hit the ground with a dull thud and she carefully folded her wings along her back. They were small, but clearly dragon's wings. She smirked. "Nice job," she said. Her tone was gruff but mildly complimentary.
She looked the shadral up and down as she spoke, examining the potential recruit. She waited to see what Saria would do now.
