The Saplu are also known as the ‘daughters of the forest’, and they often refer to their own kind as 'tree-sisters'. There are two different kinds of Saplu: slightly lighter-skinned, which wear brown clothes, and dark-skinned which wear only green clothes.
They always have green hair and either green or yellow eyes. In their natural tree form, they have designs that look like faces. Strangely, the tree forms can resemble any type of young tree, though they are rarely over four feet tall. This race does not age, and it is said that they sprout from the seeds of a sacred tree hidden deep in a forest temple. As a peaceful race, they won’t even kill a plant.
Their race is quite peculiar in many ways, but one of the most strange is the way they get energy. They never eat or drink, even though they resemble people in their human-like forms.
