Zakean are hybrids of elves and humans in appearance as the Toraled are. They are often referred to as cousin races. Also in similarity is that Zakean have evolved a special ability as well. Zakean have evolved to be able to fly upon the most slight air current to roam the skies of Amaru, not being restricted to one region or area and are highly adaptable.
Besides being physically lighter than either of their cousin races in Amaru, there is virtually no other differences. However, they are not very skilled thieves, with the general exception, like a Toraled. Like all of their cousin kin, Zakean are also intelligent beings with complex thoughts.
Most Zakean have dirty blond or light brown hair, tanned from the bright sun. They dress in very colorful robes and have an equally bright and happy attitudes. Most Zakean have never heard of poverty or malice. They generally are peaceful beings, preferring flight rather than fight. They are often merchants, though many are just freelancers. Their personalities tend to be gentle, though each can adapt to different influences, much as the Toraled. However, their most basic instinct is to be kind but cautious of those around them, which means that acquiring their trust can often be difficult. Most also haven't been effected by Amett, for they can always fly or, though rarely, fight back. Though most Zakean are nomads living were they please, it is believed that they originated from the Skylands City of the Chuukan region.
