From above the Snow Wash river seems glacial. It is frozen ontop nearly all year round, accepted for a few days in summer when the river breaks its banks and floods much of the Tundra. When the ice is thick, it is good for ice fishing, and ice skating. if you can keep your hold on the slippery ice. Many Aurorans come down from Thunderblizzard village, and skate down the river onto the lake where they have a day of celebration, fun and laughter.
