Des waited a few moments before cutting off the lightning. "The sword hasn't corroded so there are probably a few enchantments." He said when he was done. " Very interesting though, I wonder what the enchantments are? Do you mind if, after we get your ice weapon, I study it some? Those enchantments could really come in handy. For now all this blade needs is to cool down from that test."

Essetai nodded. "If you find anything out about the magic we should be able to apply it to good use. Who knows? It could be easy to change around a few bits of the magic base and change it to make them unbreakable instead of lasting all these years...the possibilities are endless."

She handed him back his own sword and sheath, taking this one from him. "Got it covered! Here's yours back...thanks for the loan." Essetai smoothly mounted her own Pegicorn and nudged with her legs to signal to move.

Des fixed the sword across his back. It felt comforting too have it back. " No problem." He said as he drained the lightning he stored earlier.

The Pegicorns quickly broke into a canter and moved into a gallop, flying across the stone floor. They moved quickly past the strange creature, which seemed like it wanted to react, but couldn't move beyond a small area, as if wards held it in place unless some one unwanted tried to reach the Stone Legend.

She yelped and held on, looking back at the creature. Sorry we weren't who you thought! she sent to it with a quick thought. "Woah! Adrenaline high!"

The pegicorns galloped on, there hooves striking the floor in a distinctive, repetative rhythm. They quickly reached the entrance and galloped out into the open light. The three of them opened there wings and took to the skies, catching the updraughts under their feathers.

Des grinned with satisfaction. " That satisfied my curiosity." He said. Now that Des was use to the pegicorns, he actually found the flight fun.

Esse raised her arms in the air. Her short red hair whipped in all directions as the flight's air blew along her face. She let out a joy-cry, the kind of 'woo-hoo' you expected from somebody out on a joy ride. "Woah!"
