"And I'm absolutely ecstatic knowing I get the chance to speak with her...She's absolutely legendary! I'm interested in Fineus too since he's a Circle Guardian. Who better to ask about the Stone Legend than the one of those who placed it in Amaru in the first place?"

" I'd have to say no body currently living." Des said. " So what kind of sword or weapon should we be searching for?"

Thinking a moment Esse started to roughly describe and ice blade. "If we can get anything close to the general shape or weight I should be good...they sound light but they're almost like a shortsword."

Des memorized the description." Got it." He said " We should start with this chamber, I guess." Des's thought drifted back to the beast they saw at the fork in the path. I wonder if there are good weapons down that path? " You know, it's days like this that blacksmith training comes in handy."

"How-so? Because you know what I'm talking about? Or just because it's useful and applicable?" She questioned, her intellect showing again.

"Um, a little bit of both." Des said "I get a good idea of what weapon you want and , from training and experience, I can look at you and see what kind you actually need. Sometimes one's preference doesn't match what weapon they would be best suited for. It's also apliable now because the second to worse case senario is all we find is weapons material that I could forge into something temperary."

"Ah, right...makes sense. I most likely should have guessed that," Esse laughed. She looked around. "Best not to remain in here. We're in a dead end area and if that beast from before moves to track our scent we won't have much room for a fight. I don't think our Pegicorn companions here will much prefer that circumstance when a simple change of location can prevent it."

"You have a point." Des said. " I wonder what that creature was anyway? It hasn't contacted us since we entered here."

"Perhaps there are wards on this area and once we leave it the creature can contact us? I'm not sure... I suppose, as said before and most likely frequently by myself, we'll find out."

" If there are wards the I kind of feel better about it." Des said. " Means the creature is suppose to be here, but your right. We'll find out. So, where do you want to start the search?"

She nodded and started leading the way down the hallway. "This is the only way out of here...so here for now. Then we can figured out where to go to search from there."

The Pegicorns trotted ahead slightly into the next chamber. The youngest one identified a little short sword that would work effectively for Esse. The Pegicorn nudged it towards her, so that it was directly in her path as she entered.

Essetai looked down at the shortsword and stroked the Pegicorn's neck. "Thanks for your help." She picked it up and tested the weight. "It's a little heavier than what I'm used to but I think it will work for now... There must be spells on it because it's not rusted. What do you think, Des?"

Des took the sword and examined it. " Well if it's as old as we think then that would be the only explanation." He said while he gave it a few test swings. " Let me give it a quick test for those enchantments. " Des channelled lightning into his hand. " By jolting it just right, I can simulate years of corrosion. If it rust up or defaults in any way then it's not." Des steadily pulsed enough lightning into the sword to not melt the metal.

The pegicorns jumped back again but the leader remained where he was. The lightning still scared him but he had learnt that it wasn't going to harm him, at least from Des. He wasn't going to be quite so relaxed around any one else. There are enchantments on it. I can sense them. The leader thought.
