Essetai spun and her eyes widened. There before her was a creature known to be cunning beyond belief... a crafty and vicious animal capable of major damage. She glanced up at the sky and winced. No sunlight was there to aid them so the Floxxus could not be defeated. She drew her wooden sword, knowing it could do no damage. The only thing she could use it for would be to hit the creature if it came near. "Desumo! You have a real sword... can you fight it while I try to get near the Pegiverns and protect them?"

Desumo drew his sword and faced the beast. " No problem." He said, psyching himself up for battle.
" So your the brute causing this. This won't be as powerful as sunlight, but it will do." Desumo cast Sparks adding light to the battlefield. He then channeled electricity into his sword, changing the handle's color to a deep blue, and swung the blade sending a electric wave at the beast.

Esse turned her palm behind her as she walked closer to the pegicorns, casting sparks to make the light of Desumo's own sparks.
"Easy...easy..." she cooed. She tried to keep the big pegicorn calm as she approached him again.

Desumo charged the floxxus. " I'll try ti get it away so you can handle them without hassle." He yelled back. He slashed at the beast, aiming to drive it into the forest.

"Good luck!" she called over her shoulder, though she kept it quiet so she wouldn't startle the pegicorns. Essetai reached out, close enough to the pegicorn now that she could touch it if she took a few more steps. "Easy boy... come on... I promise I won't hurt you."

The pegicorn, whinied and readied itself for battle. Another enemy seemed to be close at hand and it would do anything it could to protect the herd. It reared up on it's hind legs, and lashed out at Essetai.
The Floxxus bent it's legs slightly, and dodged the blade. It swung itself to the ground, and rolled to one side, out of Desumo's charge. The blade hadn't hit the Floxxus once. It moved forwards towards Essetai, and started to close in on her back. It seemed determined to get at the Pegicorns.

ooc: I took a quick look before i started posting. It sort of looks like a kitsune.
Bic: Desumo kept slashing but also tried to stay aware of the floxxus to make sure it didn't try anything. He didn't like to swing at something so much shorter than himself since he was use to taller opponents.
"Note to self, train to fight short opponents." He said to himself.

(kay... yeah it's a little bit like one lol)
Essetai blocked with her sword, falling backwards. "Woah! Woah! I'm not going to hurt you!" Her eyes changed colour from a calm blue to a bright, frightened, orange. She looked up at the rearing pegicorn in terror. "Come on boy, I'm not going to harm you!"

" Darn it." Desumo said. He channeled the electricity into his muscles, providing greater speed. He dashed between Esse and the floxxus.
" Sorry, but these guys aren't on today's menu." He began to slash even quicker at it, coating his blade in blue electricity.

The Floxxus moved again quickly, away from the blade and moved forwards to grab at Desumo's leg. It had intelligently positioned itself so that Desumo wouldn't be able to get his blade at it, without catching his own leg.
The pegicorn, kicked out again in terror, and then landed on it's feet, moving away from the Floxxus but staying within the clearing. The herd followed him, and they formed the same formation, with their protector at the front.

Esse scrambled to her feet and put her back to the pegicorns, hearing the sounds of the Floxxus and Desumo fighting. She shouted and waved her arms. "Hey ugly! Come get me!" She had dropped her wooden sword since it couldn't do any damage to the creature, but she intended to hit it with her shield.

Desumo got fustrated at the animal, but he suddenly had an idea. Desumo began to shift into his Elemental form. His skin faded into blue lightning, his hair stood up and crackled, and his eyes glowed yellow. He restrained from burning his shirt. Desumo looked at the floxxus and grinned.
" Bite me, I dare you."

The Floxxus grabbed the invitation with both hands and bit down hard into Desumo's leg. The electricty did little to harm the Floxxus, as only sunlight can kill it, but it's jaws were strong.

Desumo winced at the pain, he never knew a creature to not withdraw after biting an Elemental. He pulsed stronger electricity to his leg.
"Ignore us, just keep yourself and the pegicorns safe" Desumo yelled to Esse. He directed his attention back to the Floxxus.
"Ready to go for a ride?" Desumo began to hover in the air. "My flight capabilities may be limited but I'll have an edge." He thought.

She blinked with a frown. "Just be careful!" Esse shouted with worry filling her voice. She turned back to the Pegicorns, hoping her tone would be enough to calm them. "Don't worry... we'll chase that Floxxus away."
