Kjara looked up and smiled. She had heard how greedy the little mouse was, and wasn't happy with it eating the food, at least until it was ready.

Kintir share... Don't eat as much as biiiiig Kjara and Jyotic! he smiled, little rabbit teeth showing. Like Kjara's cooking. She make best food ever! Mmm!

<You ate alot of Jyotic's food on the day you first met him, and lots again yesterday evening, before the rest of us had cooked our food.> She turned it over again and decided that the first stick of meat was ready. She pulled a few herbs out of her pack and sprinkled it over the meat, and then pushed all the cooked meant off onto a large flat stone. She put some more raw meat on the stick she had taken off and put it back on the fire.
She picked up another empty stick, and put a couple of pieces of meat on it, but put pepper and carrot and onions on it as well. She also used mushrooms from the forest floor which she new were safe to eat, and small cubes of potato. She put the mixed kebab back over the fire.

Kintir sniffed, smelling the food. He curled up and then closed his eyes. Kintir sorry.

Kjara smiled at his sadness for causing distress to his new friends. She pulled the first cooked Kebab off the fire and put it on a stone to cool slightly. <Come here> she said softly.

He squeaked and then jumped off Jyotic's shoulder, landing with a soft thud. He scampered over to Kjara. Kjara wanted to see Kintir?

She pushed the kebab towards him. <There you go.> She turned to Jyotic and thought to him alone so Kintir couldn't hear. <Are you hungry?> Jyotic nodded. <Okay, you can have the next one.> She picked up another stick and did the same thing, a couple of pieces of meat, some peppers, carrots, mushroom and potato. She slipped it over the fire again, before using the rest of the pieces of cooked meat on a longer one for her.

Kintir sniffed at the kebab excitedly. Thank you thank you Kjara! he thought, hopping around a little. He pulled a little piece of pepper off and started to eat it. Kjara want Kintir's meat? Kintir no eat it. Only yummy pepper, carrot, mushroom, and 'tato!

Kjara pulled the meat of Kintir's kebab, and threw the pieces to Jyotic, who caught them easily. He quickly ate them down, while waiting for the other kebab's to be cooked. Kjara pulled the two finished kebabs off passing the shorter one to Jyotic. She pulled the rest of the cooking meat of checked it with her claw, and quickly used it all up in kebabs, keeping a few meat free. She put another three kebabs on the fire, and her and Jyotic began to tuck in.

He ate the piece of pepper and then continued on to eat some mushrooms. Reaaaal tasty! Kjara the best!

Kjara and Jyotic continued to eat in silence. Jyotic ate 5 of the kebabs, and Kjara ate 14 of the longer ones. She had to eat alot.

Kintir finished his kebab and licked his lips. He then yawned and stretched out, tail curling up around his legs. Full. Thank you!
