Asim padded along the forest floor carefully. Though this new land was unfamiliar and the darkness even now during the daylight frightened him, the red wolf was at peace. He felt confident in the place with topography not so much unlike his home. Though the scents and sights were different the land still spoke to him the same way as before.
It told him many things, not all of which he understood at the moment...but each thing touched his heart and he felt prepared for this new place.

Tamara spread her wings, landing gently on a tree in the canopy, and watching the wolf padding below her. As far as she knew, wolves could only be found on Canis. So what was this one doing here?

Hearing something above him, Asim glanced up. Though he was a tiny excuse for a red wolf, he still had sense enough to try to slink back into the treeline. Hello? he questioned, wondering who was there.

Tamara sprung down lightly from the branches. "Hello," she replied.

Asim jumped back a little, his tail and ears flattening as she landed. He stood back and examined the newcomer before he relaxed. Who might you be, Child Of The Fox? The title seemed odd, but not to him.

"I'm a Kitsune... if that is what you mean, although I haven't been back to Tengal for a long time." Tamara looked down. "It's been a long time..."

You are a Child of the Fox. I am a Child of the Wolf. We are no so different. Now...how may I help you? Or are you just being curious and wished to speak to me? Asim asked, his green eyes showing intelligence beyond what any animal had. He was different...

"I was wondering what you are doing here. You don't belong here. You should be on Canis."

Are you trying to persuade me to leave back to my homeland? Asim asked, confused. Because I do not believe I belong there any longer. The tie is now severed and I feel I need to be here.

"No. I just was wondering why you were here..." Tamara looked confused.

He changed into a red-brown haired Zayrena and met her eyes once again with his own forest green ones. "See what I mean? I do not belong on Canis. I am here to stay. ...Now is that all you wanted? Or has Amaru drawn you to me for another reason?"

"I don't know about Amaru, but I'm looking for the Stone Leged. Rumours are that it is here."

"The Stone Legend? ...What is that?" he asked, tilting his head to the side in a habit he had as a wolf. "And why is everything so eerily dark?"

"It's the canopy that creates the darkness, and the Stone Legend reveals the location of one of the crystal shards."

"Stone Legend? ...Crystal shard? Explain please? I've never heard of any of these things in all of my life." Amaru sure has changed since the ancient Wolves of the Stars dwelled here before they brought us Canis.
