Tamara looked a little confused, but followed Asim anyway. He felt like a hero, even if he was a little strange.

Asim led the way down the halls and through maze-like corridors until the places started to be lit by blue-glowing runes. "We're on the right trail," he confirmed. It seemed like he was speaking to himself instead of Tamara.

Tamara smiled, not bothering to answer as he seemed to be talking to himself. She let go of her pendant as the ruins grew brighter, because her light wasn't needed anymore.

He kept going down the hallways, guided by something that Tamara couldn't sense. "We're very close... Not long now until we find it."

He smiled slightly, the corner of his lips turning upwards. "The Stone Legend of course...I've located it and we're on our way. Didn't we come in here to find it?"

"Yes... You found it that quickly." Tamara sighed, unable to know how the heroes brain worked. She sighed. "Let's keep going."

"I don't know how...but I saw the way. When my eyes flashed it was like the place was taken apart and turned into a map. Strange." Could this be my ability? he thought.

Tamara looked around. "Can you speak Amarian?" she asked. "These ruins look like they are it that language..."

"I don't speak it...but I do believe I should still be able to read them. It is in my blood from the first Canis wolves. They spoke only in Amarian, no Amarun. I should be fine as long as their spirits guide me," Asim said as he glanced over them.

He passed a hand over the rune and it seemed the glow a light purple in response to his touch. He smiled. "I can read it. It is saying we are on the right track."

Asim continued down the hallway, turning back into a wolf since he felt more comfortable. He was able to go fluently back and forth without issues...a talent unnatural for a wolf unless he was special somehow other than being a hero. What could his power be?
