"Oh...I still don't understand. Who exactly, or what, is Amett? And what has become of Amaru? I've never heard stories of it in such a dark state before," Asim questioned. He raised an eyebrow, still confused.

"Amett is a demon. He has taken over large areas of Amaru with his dark magic. I doubt much in Amaru will be as you remember it."

He sighed. "I never knew Amaru....this is the first time I've been here. Like I mentioned before, there are stories from the time wolves lived on the mainland. It is so different now... What of these heroes?" Could this be what the Wolves of the Stars told me I am meant to be?

He looked her over, thinking for a moment. He smiled. "You are able to be trusted. Your heart is pure."
He changed back into a wolf and looked up at her. From the time I was a pup I was told I was to be a Hero and would save Canis. That is my purpose.

It was strange. I didn't know what anyone meant. I knew the land of Amaru, but obviously not as it is now...I knew nothing of the Heroes. I knew nothing of the purpose of them...and most of all I had not heard the name Amett. Canis is separated enough from the mainland to stay away from this darkness. Now it is clear that will not remain forever.

So I suppose I am meant to find this crystal shard...but I'm confused. I still don't understand things. I heard that they had powers. What is mine? And how do I use it to assist others I've never met before?
