Accalia sniffed and nodded. Smells like it. I assume then she will not miss it. If she gets angry with me I'll deal with it.

Well it is too tough for her to eat...but I guess I shouldn't. What if Star intends to use it as bait for another sort of animal? Meat eaters who would be drawn to it would be rather large and a good size for hunting at a future point.

Not many would eat this. It is too large to be used as bait, and she has enough food for a while.

I'd eat it. she muttered, sniffing at the meat in a longing manner. It could be cut up for bait though.

It would go off before she needs to hunt again. Although this meat lasts longer than most.

She made up her mind, snapped it up in her teeth, and swallowed without chewing. Her stomach needed nourishment badly. Guilt can bother me later...

Star kissed Accalia afectionatly and then ran back into the forest. She changed as soon as she was out of site. She picked up some leaves from a plant she knew was there because she had seen it earlier and then moved back to the camp.

Accalia smiled and watcher her mother go then watched Star return. Welcome back... she greeted the girl.

Star knelt by the meat, looking at the pieces. She jumped up and moved fiercly towards Accalia. What have you done. I loosed you a little because I felt i was being harsh and this is how you repay me! Star grabbed the leash and pulled at Accalia dragging her over to the woods. She found a large wide branch and put Accalia on it, so that it was far off the ground. She pulled the leash really short so that there was no way Accalia could jump down, and the branch was too narrow for Accalia to lie down or to move in any way.

Accalia glared in defiance but allowed the punishment. She much preferred her Mother's softer methods but then again Star wasn't her Mum...far as she knew anyway. She said not a word.
