"I'm not a threat." She giggled, relaxing completely. Her eyes changed back to their previously content blue. "Malon is the Hero who five years ago tried to stop Amett along with the other Heroes of Amaru. She failed, obviously, but her legend lives on in the tales us Aurorans know by heart. I've committed many of those to memory by listening to my Elders frequently."

Desumo thought for a moment. " I never realized she was one of the Heroes. If your following in her footsteps, do you too mean to fight Amett?" He asked. Desumo was very curious now, someone with such memory for tales may be his key to a shard or two.

She nodded, her blue eyes having an outlined pupil of orange: determination.
"I will end the suffering of this land... look around you. Amett's influence has been a blight to all. I will not allow it to continue of I may do so. I'm not a hero, I don't have their abilities, and I am certainly not Malon but I do intend to at least do something."

Desumo's hair began to crackle with electricity from his excitement, a feeling he got whenever he thought about being victorious in completing his quest.

Esse, being an Auroran and therefor highly observant, noticed his hair. "Let me guess... you're an Elemental?" she asked, smiling. She relaxed again and her anger towards Amett faded. Her eyes became an inquisitive shade of green-blue.

Desumo smiled. "Yes, I'm an Elemental." He said as he put more wood in the fire. " I take it this is your first time seeing one?"

Essetai nodded. "Yeah... then again this is my first time every seeing somebody besides an Auroran!" She giggled, brushing her hair behind one of her strange ears. Unlike most of her race she had a little fur on the ends... almost feathery like. "The only reason I know about a whole bunch of stuff is because of stories."

(No problemo  ) "I'm not sure what to do... I've been going off legends mostly. There's one for-telling of a thing called the Stone Legend. I thought here might be a good place to start looking." Esse grinned. "As for not knowing we know stories about Elementals... well Aurorans know a lot of lore from all corners of Amaru. We have great memories too so once they are heard we're unlikely to forget them." |

"I heard of the Stone Legend while traveling and came to see if it will really help me locate the shards. " Desumo looked at the ruins. He initially knew this wouldnt be easy and since arriving his feeling has only been conformed.

She nodded. "It's supposedly down deep inside of the Ruins. We'd have to do quite a substantial amount of traveling." Essetai thoughtfully bit her lip but not hard enough to break it open and draw blood. "The thing I know for sure is the only way down inside would probably be dangerous... it did used to be a prison after all."

Desumo grinned. "I'm sure anything that comes across my path down there is in for a shock." He said. Desumo was confident in his ability to handle things in the ruins.
" But to be on the safe side, how about we venture in together. We'd both have better chances searching and defending."

Esse's tail perked up and so did she. "Together? Like friends?"
She grinned, her sharp teeth glinting. She seemed to like the idea quite a lot. "I've never had any real friends before... just some other Aurorans in Thunderblizzard."

Desumo thoughtnfor a moment. He was thinking along the lines of allies, but friends?
"Yes, together as friends. We seem to get along good and have things in common so why not." Desumo was satisfied with the decision. "It's always better to explore as friends rather than allies." He thought.
