Des nodded. " Ok, I'll trust your judgement." He said as he too began to step forward. " But hold on to my sword and keep it ready, just in case. Though it is extremely important to me, probably as important as an ice blade is to you, I trust that you'll handle it well. Just let me do one adjustment." Des touched the blade and stored some lightning in it. " There, now you can use the lightening to your leasure. Just give the sword a good push with your mind to force it out. You can use the sword till we find you a weapon."

She smiled. "Alright, thanks Des!" I just hope I can do the part with the lightening if I have to... Essetai thought. To show her worry her eyes changed colour. She sighed knowing emotions were purely impossible for an Auroran to hide.

The creature shuffled a little, but didn't move forwards. The Pegicorns started to move down the tunnel, away from it, hoping that Esse and Desumo would follow. One of the pegicorns encouraged Esse to mount, and the leader walked catiously towards Desumo, uncertain whether he would start shooting lightning again. All though he trusted Esse's judgement, he didn't like the colour, or the slightly burnt smell that hung around in the air.

Essetai nodded to the pegicorn and climbed onto its back, gripping Desumo's blade carefully as if it were some kind of sacred artifact. "They seem to trust this creature...whatever it is..."

"I'm not so sure" Des said. " Why would the leader suddenly trust me even a little if he wasn't nervous." Des was skeptical about the pegicorns wanting to move onward. " No, I think they rather not go near it. By the way the lightning thing is much easier than it sounds, after a few slashes you get a rhythm going."

" I say we go for it." Des said as he climbed on the leader's back. He directed his attention to the leader. " Ok, this time take it eas- never mind, just get us to the end of the tunnel in one piece." Des figured he had better get use to the leader's flying and riding style rather than keep complaining.

Esse gripped the pegicorn's body with her legs and leaned forward a little. She looked like some kind of wild mounted warrior with her short spiked red hair and strangely coloured hair along with her Auroran horns and dragon tail...especially since Desumo's sword was in her hands.

Des took the sheath off his back and handed it to Esse. " Here, so you don't have to hold it." He said. " Sword's no good if your arms are tired from holding it too long. We probably should get started." Des looked at the tunnel that lied ahead of them and couldn't help but wonder what was in store.

She nodded and put the sheath where it was supposed to go, sliding the sword into it. She felt slightly off balance. "Man this thing is heavier than an ice blade!"

"Well I guess so. Last time I checked metal was much heavier than ice." Des said in a joking way. " Sure you can handle it?"
