Jyotic shouldered his pack and started following the mouse. Maybe it had seen something interesting. He set of at a light jog after the little creature, who had suprising speed for something so small.
Kjara was confused. She walked up to the rockface, and tried thinking 'Open' in Amarun. She tried Amarian again as well. She put her claw up to the rockface again and pushed against it.

It continued to run until it suddenly stopped in front of a hallway which was faintly glowing. It squeaked loudly, scratching at the stone's face.
The runes gave way and the wall moved slightly, a smell of dampness filling the air. It seemed like nobody had been in that tunnel for years, probably never got to the runes at all.

Kjara squeezed through the gap, and peered out the other side. She was suddenly so aware of her claws clicking on the ground. The smell of dampness filled her nose, and she wrinkled in slightly. She guessed that this place hadn't been seen in years.
Jyotic picked up the mouse again, and entered the hallway slowly. He nocked an arrow to his bow, and held it ready to fire, wary of the danger that might await him. He slipped the mouse onto his shoulder, and loosened his sword in its sheath.

The mouse's whiskers trembled as it shook nervously, snuggling down against Jyotic's shoulder. Something had the little creature worried. It didn't seem like it wanted to go there alone and was afraid Jyotic would leave.
The dampness increased as she walked down the tunnels, the winds increasing as well. There were a few more runes along the wall hinting they were a pathway leading to something... but what?

Kjara pushed forwards, and moved quickly. The tunnel was dark and damp, and she wanted to get to the end. She wanted to find out what the runes had been leading her too. Her claws clicked loudly on the stone floor, she shuddered aware of every sound she made. She slowly opened her wings, and left the floor, flapping her wings silently to propel herself along.
Jyotic stroked the mouse. "Don't worry, I'm not going to leave," he said. "Come on. Let's go and have a look, and what's hidden in the tunnel. There must be some reason you led me here, right?"

The breeze picked up a little more, though this time it was mysteriously behind her like it wanted to help Kjara. The runes led her into one last cavern where a large stone sat in the middle, abruptly stopping.
The mouse blinked, sort of like it understood. It held on tight with its tiny claws as Jyotic went down the hallway.

Kjara walked towards the stone. It looked like... No, it couldn't be. She walked closer to try and see exactly what the stone was, and she looked for letters on the stone.
Jyotic continued down the hallway.
((sorry, mental block))

(No problem ) The stone was completely covered on all sides by runes, all glowing a light shade of blue when she got close enough to try to read them. The mouse trembled and a growl filled the air. (me too x.x)

Kjara peered at the stone in puzzlement. Was this the stone legend she and Jyotic had heard so much about? Was it this glowing stone which would reveal the location of a crystal shard? She moved closer again, and reached out to touch it, then she turned her mind to the runes, again beginning to try and read what they said.
Jyotic suddenly switched onto full alert. He told the mouse that it should go into his bag, and he held the bow in a position, which meant that he could shoot very quickly. He loosened one of the straps on his pack, so that he could pull his drawing arm back far enough, and proceeded down the corridor. The mouse must have brought him here for a reason, he reckoned.

The mouse gladly scampered and hid inside of his bag. Mousaokit...food... Broken phrases of thought-speak could reach Jyotic. Some kind of animal was intending to prey on them both.
The stone pulsated a little then the glow faded, allowing the runes to be seen clearly. They were illuminated by the light of the room itself which seemed to come from nowhere.

He held the bow and arrow high, ready to pull the string back at the slightest notice. He moved down the tunnel, light on the balls of his feet.
Kjara peered closer. It was the Stone Legend. She smiled. <Jyotic, can you here me>
Jyotic jumped at the sound. They must be quite close, for him to hear her so clearly.
Kjara knew she wouldn't get a response, so she carried on. <I found it. I found it! It's the Stone Legend. Can you come here? We need to write it down, I can't translate it all right now. I'll keep talking so you can follow my thoughts.> Kjara began to sing a song softly in her head, so that Jyotic would always have something to follow. She sang a complicated tale about to dragons, who fell in love, but were forcebly seperated.

The mousaokit, otherwise called 'mouse', poked its head up out of Jyotic's bag and tilted its head. It heard Kjara somehow. It also seemed to hear the strange almost echo coming from the chamber. However, there was no sign of the mental voice that had said 'Mousaokit... food...' anywhere. They were alone.

Jyotic sighed, and moved along the corridor, holding the bow slightly more relaxed. He broke into a gentle jog, following the sound of Kjara's singing, listening to the beautiful song. He smiled. She remebered so much about her past, all the songs and legends had been passed down to her on the day she hatched. He hadn't had time to learn.
Kjara continued with her song, the melody flowing around her and filling the thoughts of the animals near. They all felt the emotional pain of the two dragons as the song built to near its climax. Even without uttering a single sound, the beauty of her song and her voice was evident.

The mousaokit skittered out of Jyotic's pack and onto his shoulder again, a large ear twitching towards the direction of Kjara's song. It seemed to find it enchanting... magical.
The runes kind of pulsated a little, responding to the song in a way. It kind of had its own magic in a way, besides the Stone Legend itself. There was a lot of heart and soul that had gone into the rocks... even the walls themselves. Suffering had been endured all around the Ruins of Time when it used to be the Ohto Prison Camps. Now it was all connected.

Jyotic speeded up, running to where the sound was coming from. He stroked the Mousaokit on his shoulder as he ran, happy with his new friend. He followed the runes, pounding faster and faster, until he burst out into the cave where Kjara was. Kjara nudged Jyotic in the shoulder. <You found me. I need the notepad quickly. We should write down the runes on the stone, so I can try and translate them later.> Jyotic pulled the notepad out of his pack, and started noting down the runes on the stone. "What do you think they say," he asked Kjara.
