Tamara opened her wings and darted up through the foliage. She landed as agiley on the branch as she could on the ground and didn't make a sound. Unneccessairily she put her fingers to her lips, to encourage Zyg to stay quiet.

Zyg didn't need to be told. His years as a thief gave him the perfect ability to remain perfectly still and silent. He watched carefully at the interaction below.
Two men, clad in armor and angry, burst out of the woods. "Hey! You!"
Asim blinked innocently and turned. "Yes sirs? What can I do for you?" His air and tone of perfect politeness was impeccable.
"You seen a boy run by? He's got white hair. Can't miss him!"
"Yes...he went that way!" Asim nodded, pointing in the direction Tamara had told him to. The two men scowled and didn't even think twice about thanking Asim as they ran off. Once they were out of earshot he looked up at the tree. "It's safe now!"

Tamara bounced off the tree and spiralled down to the ground. She landed as elegantly as she had earlier, smiling slightly.

Asim's eyes widened slightly but he shook it off. He wondered if he would ever be able to tell her how amazing she really was. He looked up and to his surprise saw nothing in the tree. He suddenly yelped and spun, feeling a tap on his shoulder.
"Looking for me?" Zyg asked, grinning.

Tamara shook her head. Some people were quite gullible. But she like that. It was nice that even heros had failings. She blushed again after the thought.

Asim growled a little but laughed right after. "Got me."
Zyg nodded. He looked to them both with a smile. "Thank you... those men would've hurt me if they'd caught me."

Tamara smiled. "Why were they chasing you anyway?" she asked curiously.

He showed them a piece of paper but didn't unroll it to show them what it was. "This little baby is why."
"I sense runes... Stone Legend?" Asim questioned.
"No clue but those guys were holding it with their lives. It has to be important."

"Can I have a look,?" Tamara asked, holding her hand out.

He looked cautious but opened his hand, allowing her to see his prize. If she steals it...No I don't think she will. These two helped me. Zyg guard your heart well though. They aren't to be trusted as friends until they show they can be.
Asim took a look over Tamara's shoulder. "That's the Stone Legend of Chuukan!"

Tamara unrolled the piece of paper, comparing the ruins to the other ones she had created. "It's identical," she said catiously.

"You've seen it before then..." Zyg said. It wasn't a question even though it was worded like one. He knew that they knew what it was.
"Yes...we just found and copied it. But those men seemed to be dark. I think they had it for a bad reason so it's probably best you took it from them."

"Why did you steal it anyway. What made you do that?" Tamara was curiously.

Zyg bit his lip nervously. It felt odd...He hadn't been nervous about lying in ages. It was how he made a living after all. And yet he couldn't bring it to lie to either Tamara or Asim for some reason. "It's how I survive." was his reply. He hoped they wouldn't be angry.
"You're a thief then?" Asim asked. He got a guilty nod as a reply.

Tamara looked sideways at Asim, sending a silent message with her eyes. She asked whether he could be trusted, knowing that Asim could change to talk to her clearly, but inaudibly to the boy. "What's your name?" she asked.
