"Do you think we should rest here? The sky is getting darker." Tamara pointed out.

Asim looked up at the sky then let out a howl. A few birds scattered but nothing big was around. It's safe to rest for the night...you and Zyg set up a camp if you can. I'm going to go off for a little bit to hunt. If I find any birds it will be better than nothing. After which he added to Tamara only: Talk to him... Don't pry but see if there's anything you can find out about him. There must be reasons he had to live as a thief. The skills he has from such a life will prove useful for us but only if we can completely trust him not to revert back to them as means of survival only. He needs to see us as friends.

Tam almost nodded but caught herself in time, remembering that Zyg did not know of her and Asim's silent conversations. She moved her head across, catching Asim's gaze for a second, before moving across to a tree. She nodded fractionally, as if looking into the woods, hoping that Asim would get her message. "It looks like it is going to rain tonight." she said. "We should build a shelter." She walked off into the forest with her light dancing step, and picked up an armful of firewood. She dropped it close to where Zyg was standing, and moved back to find a long branch to start to building the shelter with. She picked up a suitable branch and attempted to drag it back towards the river.

Asim ran off to do as he had said, to find food. I'll try not to take too long! he called back to them.
"Need some help?" Zyg offered hesitantly, seeing her struggling with the branch. Brain to brain she was probably smarter when it came to books while he had street smarts but a muscle comparison was simple. He'd spent his years working the muscles every day so he was stronger.

"Could you take the other end? It's to long for me to carry on my own."

Zyg smiled, his white teeth looking even dull in comparison to his albino skin. "No problem!" He ran over and grabbed onto the end, resting it on his shoulder. "Got it."

Tamara pulled the other end up onto her shoulder and together they carried the long log back to the camp. She pulled it up into a Y shaped tree, so that it sloped to the ground. "We need to find other shorter branches to rest on to this one she said."

"It's not a problem...Can you handle that? In the mean time I can probably sharpen a few sticks into stakes so we have more shelter support."

Tamara continued to pull the branches together, and built a pyramid off the original log. She began to weave flexible branches and vines and leaves inbetween the would, making the first layer of the rainproof shelter.

"Not bad..." he said, coming over. Zyg grabbed some vines of the same kind and joined her in weaving. However his were more intricate and held the leaves in place all around the edges like roof plating. He grinned, proud of his work. Still got it Zygandelth. Been a while since you had to make a shelter but you've still got it.

Tamara smiled. "Intricate doesn't always mean better. You notice that here, here and here there are overlaps in the wrong direction, they would let the rain in. It's easier just to do two layers. If you want to use less vines, you can do it like this." She began to demonstrate, doing a slightly different weave effieciently, that meant that all the leaves over lapped in the right direction so rain would just run off. "Oh... I'm sorry... What you are doing is fine." She went back to what she was doing. "Where did you learn this anyway?"

He laughed and adjusted his weaving so it was a mixture of his own sturdy style and Tamara's more efficient one. "I learned by myself... You know I was a thief. Well, knowing how to make a good place to stay is kind of important if you don't want to get caught."

Tamara nodded continuing to do two layers. "It's warmer this way, so I've practiced it more. It's not as nessecary here, but I've travelled a lot and sometimes you need the extra warmth." She finished the section she was working on, and went to collect more vines. She began on another section, working as fast as she was earlier. "You say you were a thief?"

He sighed, pausing in his work then getting back to work. A dullness took over his bright pink eyes and features. It made him look older for a moment as if his actions weighed down on him. "Yes. I did say it and was telling the truth. Outcast from society there isn't much else to do if you want to live."

"But your not anymore." Tamara was curious. It was the past tense that had made her intrested. She smiled warmly.
