"Not quite... I don't have money to make an honest living but the skills are still there. I don't need to steal to live but as you saw sometimes I do if I think it's needed... It's kind of complicated. I don't expect anyone to find justice in my actions," Zyg said with a slight frown.

Tamara decided to change the conversation. "How long have you been in this area?"

"Here? Long enough...I lose track of time but I'd say a good three or four days. I was in those Ruins for a bit but there was no need for me to stay in there once I found those guard guys. They obviously had whatever was of such value from inside the place. And if Amett's goons want it? Well they can't keep it."

"I'm glad you relieved them of it. It would have been bad if too much of the Legend had fallen into Amett's hands."

"That doesn't quite make stealing right...but yes I suppose it is a good thing I took it from them. Amett can't get the Legend or Amaru is doomed to his darkness."

Tamara raised her eyebrows. "Stealing from the bad guys to save the world is wrong?" she asked.

"Stealing is wrong." he said with some finalizing seriousness that made the air thick with malice...though the hatred was directed to himself not her. "Seeing such terrible things through rose-coloured glasses or trying to make them what they are not will not improve the facts."

Tamara was confused, but she continued her weaving. She then draped some large ferns and sticks over the leaves to hide the shelter. It was very effective. She showed Zyg the entrance, and climbed inside. "We can put a fire here without us smoking ourselves, but it won't be seen from the outsied."

Zyg followed her in and nodded. "Should work really well...though we should be careful. Smoke from a fire needs ventilation."

"It can slip out through the entrance way, and the trees above will stop the smoke being seen, as long as the wood is dry. We should go and collect some."

He nodded and nimbly slipped out in a speedy exit. He started to climb a tree with little effort, scanning the ground for wood. "Shouldn't take long."

Tamara laughed and spread her wings, darting through the forest and skimming low to the ground to pick up pieces of wood. She fluttered around, dodging trees and carefully making a pile a little way away from the entrance.

He leaped down from the trees, flipping as he fell until he hit the ground lightly. Zyg started to run around with incredible speed, even for a Luparis, and scooped up some wood. "How much do we need?"

They quickly collected enough between them and Tamara relaxed, not even out of breath. She landed elegantly and turned to Zyg. "Asim should return soon."

Zyg nodded. He didn' seem very tired. "Right." "Already back!" Asim called as he arrived.
