Sumi grabbed the vines and climbed out, wondering why Tansa even cared. She followed the cat along the roof. "Before we go back, should we look for food? We've barely eaten in days..."

Don't remind me... she thought. "I know the palace isn't too far, but might you have some kind of spell to get us there more quickly? I can run so much faster than you. You'd only hold me back if we went by foot."

"It can't get any more late than it already is," she snapped. She reached out to take the book but stopped. Wait, why is she just giving it up...? Actually... I may get in trouble for leaving her behind...That must be her plan! She wants me in trouble with Amett! After thinking a moment, she reluctantly layed beside Natsumi. "Get on. And don't EVER expect me to let you ride EVER AGAIN."

Tansa got back on her feet and growled under her breath. I can't believe I'm letting someone do this to me... I feel like a pathetic mule..." After shaking out her fur, she set off at a run across the roof of the ruins. Once she reached the end, she raced down a sloped wall that had partially fallen, reaching the ground below. Leaving the Ruins of Time behind, she dashed through the forest and onward to the palace.
