Accalia walked circles around Star's things, Trying to seem as vigilant as she could. She didn't want to get yelled at again for slipping up. Accalia felt that as long as they were in the desert then she would have to work harder to stay on Star's good side to survive.

Accalia walked around Star's things. She took a deep breath, sniffing the air for anyone nearby. Star is on her way back. She thought to herself, picking up Star's scent. Accalia made a point to look especially watchful. I Wonder what she managed to get, hope it's enough supplies to last us till we get where we're going.
Accalia didn't see Star as she passed around the covered side, only picking up her scent. She knew Star was close and hoped she hadn't done anything to be scolded.

Star walked back into the cave. I found some fruit, and other foods, but unfortunately no meat. We still have a little left if you would like it.
She got some out of her pack and threw it on the ground. Eat. We must push on quickly, and try more life otherwise you will not have enough food.

Accalia picked the meat up and ate cautiously. She was in disbelief at Star's attitude, kind compared to what she had acted previously. I must have done good this time. Accalia thought to herself. She looked up at Star appreciatively once she finished. Thank you, when do we move on?

Star swallowed some fruit quickly, and checked that everything was packed. Now, she said bluntly, and began to walk into the sand once more. It worried her that they hadn't seen anything for a while, so she set a quick pace, aiming for the distant horizon.

Accalia was slightly surprised but trotted after Star. How far do you imagine She asked.
The eastern horizon glowed a faint red with the coming sun. Dawn was soon approaching them, and with it the desert heat.
