DG turned his head. "Careful!" he exclaimed as he saw her about to crash.
Sumi held on tight, wrenching her eyes shut. She didn't want to look even though they were close to the ground. Kafric! If she crashes I'm going to kill her!
Ivy watched carefully, hoping Tansa would be alright. She wasn't fond of Sumi at all but she didn't want the cat to hurt herself.

She extended her hind legs, attempting to land somewhat like a bird, but she hadn't slowed down enough. Her hind paws dug into the deep sand. Before she could even reach her front paws to the ground, she lurched forward from the momentum, instantly shifting back to her normal form as she crashed down.

Natsumi was dumped off Tansa's back and went rolling across the ground. "Owch!" she snarled.
DG came over and gave Tansa a nudge with his paw after he shifted back to wildcat. "You alright?"

"I think so...?" Tansa muttered. She looked up at him, dazed, as the world seemed to be spinning. She sat up once she regained her senses, shaking the sand out of her fur. Okay, maybe the sand being so deep isn't such a bad thing, she thought as she looked at the crater she'd made, realizing what could've happened if she'd crash-landed on hard ground.

DG winced. "Hurt at all...?" He glanced at the crater and winced again. He too knew how bad it could have been on hard ground.
Natsumi stood up, her back to them. She brushed the sand off her body and then took her hair in her hand, looking at the black tips of the silver. This is going to be a bloody pain to rebraid. I hope the dang cat is happy.

"Yeah, but it's nothing serious," she told DG. Her foreleg hurt slightly but it wasn't bad. She looked to Natsumi, snickering. She lived? she thought jokingly, sending the message to DG. Guess I should have crashed worse.

DG laughed inside of his head, the noise echoing across the connection like a ripple of water. Oh well, next time try to squish her.
Natsumi pulled what remained of the braid out then turned back to them. Her long hair swept back in almost whip-like motions. "Ready to go lazies? We're just outside Canid now."

"Who you calling lazy? I just carried you all the way across the freaking desert!" Tansa growled. "Don't expect me to give you a ride EVER again..." She looked ahead to the path to the town. I guess this is Canid.
