[Hanna]

"I don't believe ANYONE could ever just walk through lava, no matter how 'pure' their heart is. That's impossible... unless you're a Roca." She wondered if DG planned to shift to one to get through. "Or do you think Ivy's shield will hold up against lava?"

[Kayla]

DG shrugged. "I'm afraid to test it... but it's a possibility. If worse comes to worse I'll shift to a Roca and we'll be fine."

Ivy thought a little. Maybe...maybe if I change the spell a little I can make it into a shield just for fire and lava? So it'll be stronger?

[Hanna]

"Well, whatever you do, I am NOT going to be the one to test any of your plans."

[Kayla]

"Wasn't asking you to be," DG chuckled, "but if you volunteer..." I say we use Fishy as the test subject if we need one. he said to Ivy and Tansa.

Ivy giggled a little but she continued to think. It wouldn't need much adjustment...a few rune changes most likely.

Sumi glared. "Will you three stop keeping me out of the conversation? Kandrit herikah k'rinsh..."

[Hanna]

Use Fishy to test the shield? That'd be great. 'Specially if it ran out of power too soon, Tansa joked in reply. Hey, Ivy, do you know what Natsumi just said? she asked, wondering if Ivy knew that language.

[Kayla]

Ivy tried to think of any languages she knew. I'm not sure...but I think she insulted us some way or another. Either that or it was just cursing as usual.

I wish I knew what she said so I could turn it around back at her. DG chuckled.

[Hanna]

Well of course it was cursing or insults. I just wondered if you knew what the words meant exactly. "Ri akanarak deru rekane shista," Tansa said to Natsumi. "Gre inde," she added, smirking.

[Kayla]

Sumi snarled. "Hek'riah hannkra efriskan'hir! You are the shista! Makrihnr keh nekrah."

Ivy took small mental notes on the language Sumi was using. No idea what they mean but it has a lot of certain sounds in it. Namely the 'k' and 'h' sounds in pretty much every word. she sent to Tansa.

[Hanna]

Well 'k' and 'h' are common in Dragonik as well, which is what I just spoke. But that's definitely not what Natsumi is speaking. "Foliy," Tansa said to Natsumi, ignoring the insults said to her.

[Kayla]

It's a very hard-edged language...I would think it would be related to the language of- Oh nevermind. DG began. He cut himself off, not wanting to say anything that would give him away.

Ivy listened to Natsumi's words closely, trying to pick out anything common to other languages she could use to decipher it.

"Afriskai menier! Aisha haried yoah! Ankleh'kr adrahknah." Sumi mumbled, putting more than one language in several sentences.

[Hanna]

"I hate you, too," Tansa muttered to Natsumi. "Now shut up, Fishy, you're annoying all of us!" she added, knowing she couldn't be attacked for it or she'd shift back and they'd both die.

[Kayla]

She snorted, taking out her rage on DG. Her eyes flashed purple and DG's eyes snapped shut. She hadn't tried to kill him but he'd felt his pulse change for a few seconds.

You understood what she said? Ivy asked Tansa.

[Hanna]

"Leave him alone, he didn't do anything," Tansa growled at Natsumi. She swung her spiked dragon-like tail forward, aiming to hit the girl in the back.
No, Ivy. I just guessed. I thought aisha...whatever meant 'I hate you' for some reason. But I'm sure whatever she said is along that line.

[Kayla]

Sumi leaned to the side a little, moving forward to avoid most of the blow. She didn't want to be hit by the tail.

Oh...I guess it could have. It seemed close to it.

First she cuts my nose, now this? Owwww... DG groaned.

[Hanna]

I don't know, I only speak a little Amarian, Dragonik, and all of Amarun, obviously. I don't recognize the languages Natsumi keeps using.
Tansa was annoyed when her attack missed, so she gave it one more shot, swiping across from the side this time so Natsumi couldn't easily avoid it. Stupid fish...
